Well part from distant towers to north west late this morning little sign of any convection here however this may now be changing. Time will tell if it's a replay of yesterday when a thundery shower appeared from nowhere.

Similarities to yesterday around here. First image 5pm yesterday, second image 5pm today. Just about half hour behind where we were yesterday

Nice shot of it, can see it to the South of here. Wolvo Cell now producing Lightning near Penkridge, and just West of Stafford, this one may be producing soon.

I think Stoke-on-Trent has some shield around it today considering on the radar there's showers all around that are not far away but Stoke is stuck in a pocket of blue skies and fluffy clouds....

The sea breeze is shredding any convection to bits on the Wirral today. I suppose it was a little greedy to expect three thunder days in a row

Quite a few models break out an interesting area of Precip as Mapantz says above, this could be the initiation already SW of London and over the Chilterns moving west north west. Could be good for areas North of the M4 and the Severn Estuary as the evening wears on and this was the extra Slight area that Dan alluded to yesterday in his forecast

Think you mean the M40, unfortunately.  I'm north of the M4 and it's all going to my north, as usual.  Bloody Chilterns

This is dead storm alley

Mind you, that storm is pumping out some lightning, the one to the west of Stafford, below Eccelshall. I think tho it's going to skirt West of Stoke/Newcastle for more Cheshire plains.

Nope defo north of the M4 - Storms are firing further SW from the London ones which will track North West North of the M4 Later - Well thats what the models show so good luck to break the dead storm alley
