The 12z gfs looks the best tonight for incoming cold for Christmas,  the 06z gfs and ecm are still making there troubled minds up...! It really shows how hard models find it to model proper cold into the UK. ...

There is a lot of talk of a possible severe Easterly and very cold so it will probably end up being record breaking mild!

Now the models are showing some sort of battleground scenario between the Atlantic and the cold block to our East......who will win???

Does anyone know where the official station for a White Christmas is in Glasgow. Reason I ask is bookies paid out on Manchester, Leeds & Sheffield(1) which from the radar were uncertainties, yet Glasgow Airport had definite pink for a good while(2)?
