The forgotten Storm event of July 27th 2018

I haven't found anything about this and its rarely talked about but it looks to have actually been quite significant for the UK.

Synoptically it was like many other events but the CAPE was on the higher end of events but still not too extreme.

A sounding, not particularly special but unlike other setups this one didn't bust.

Shearing was quite good though.

Was a bit of a deja vu event up here  as at similar times on the nights of the 26th and 27th storms hit, here are all my videos and some screenshots from the storms

I remember leaving work (Winchester) that day to head to the pub with some colleagues. There were a couple of rumbles of thunder, but of course all of the main action was much further east. I would guess for Norfolk it was one of the best, if not the best thunderstorm event of the last decade.
