Cloudy but dry now with the rain band to my SE. After 21.2 mm yesterday a further 5.4 mm overnight; my total for the main rain band Saturday to this morning was 46.0 mm, more than the average for the whole of July! The low overnight was 11.7 C

Rain eventually stopped shortly after midnight leaving a warm, damp and cloudy night. Cloudy this morning with a few brighter spells. Showers in the vicinity. Further bright and a few sunny spells, also a few short sharp showers through the day.

Not a bad day by afternoon, the most sun since about 7 th of the month, last time it was dry also, apart from the overnight rain to 0500, 2 degrees below average max so room to improve!
