Cloudy but dry now with the rain band to my SE. After 21.2 mm yesterday a further 5.4 mm overnight; my total for the main rain band Saturday to this morning was 46.0 mm, more than the average for the whole of July! The low overnight was 11.7 C

All of the rain from yesterday has cleared away, leaving behind a lot of cloud and a rather fresh north easterly breeze

Turning mainly cloudy overnight. Light rain through the early hours, this turning moderate to heavy for a short time around 07:00 BST before becoming lighter again after 07:30 BST. The rain stopped shortly before mid morning, staying overcast. The afternoon saw a few brief sunny spells, showers scattered around the area.

Not a bad day by afternoon, the most sun since about 7 th of the month, last time it was dry also, apart from the overnight rain to 0500, 2 degrees below average max so room to improve!

Rain continued last night, moderate to heavyt times. The rain turned lighter by the early hours eventually stopping around 03:00 BST. A cloudy and damp and humid start this morning. Some brighter spells developing, though mostly cloudy with some showery light rain.

Mainly clear overnight, turning quite chilly for July. Sunny this morning high cloud increasing. High and medium level cloud continued to increase through the morning and in to the afternoon. By early afternoon sunshine became quite hazy. The late after noon saw light rain turning persistent.

The afternoon saw large amounts of cloud until early evening when more in the way of sunny spells developed.
