A very warm day cloud preventing 30C+ but it got close. A new record for us.

A new record for us too. We hit a max temp of 30.0C which is 2.3C above the previous record set in 2016. Its also the 12th warmest day in 43 years. Only 1 June day and 4 August days have been warmer.

Currently 29.6C and 51% humidity. Sunny for the moment, though convection can be seen to the south-west.

A mainly sunny and extraordinarily hot day for the time of year. A new September record here, beating the previous record set in 2021 by 2.2c. It was also the 14th highest max' for any month since records began at this site in 1977 and the 19th highest on a composite record beginning in 1963.
