A dry start to last night but rain moved in after midnight and became moderate-heavy during the early morning, accompanied by thick hill fog. The fog lifted at 0700 g.m.t but rain has persisted all morning, briefly heavy but mostly light-moderate.

Yesterday's rain cleared to the east early in the evening and by late evening the cloud was clearing to leave the rest of the night dry and clear, and much cooler than recent nights. A sunny start to this morning but in the last hour Cu humilis has developed and spread into areas of Sc.
