Both the web app and web page are completely broken.

In what respect? I'm not seeing any issues this side and haven't seen any other reports.

If it helps, I'm able to access the V8 radar on both my laptop and mobile this evening (21.39).

I've done a quick set of tests on various browsers, can't see any issues. So think it's very likely to be something local to you @Mapantz

It's back working now, but the pages started off just showing an empty map, but all of the settings menus were loaded in strange positions. I refreshed, and then the page wouldn't load at all. All other parts of netweather were working fine.

Nope. Back doing it again.

V4 radar loads fine.

V7 and 8 have issues.

I think it's possible there may be some issues either on the google cloud or cloudflare, who we use for servers / cdn etc, as I'm seeing some odd loading on random things at the moment.

I'm fairly convinced it's cloudflare, I'm struggling to load much and getting errors when trying to access our account on their site, which is probably a decent hint. I can't see anything wrong on our side, server wise.

It's a bit hit or miss at the moment, but just had to question it to definitely make sure it wasn't just me lol

I think the issue may be clearing now, it's still not exactly fast at times, but I'm seeing less errors generally.

Looks like the problem has resolved itself overnight. Still not sure exactly the cause, perhaps cloudflare, perhaps Google, or perhaps a networking thing in between, as it wasn't just us affected.

The web app on desktop is so painfully slow these days.

The same app on my phone works perfectly.

Are you zoomed out a long way (browser zoom, not the zoom on the map), or using a massive monitor perhaps?

That's the only instance where I've seen it be slow, and that was purely down to the fact that the PC couldn't draw the images quickly enough, as if you're using the browser zoom to get a wider view or have a particularly hi-res monitor, it's hundreds and hundreds of tiles that may need to be loaded. In normal use, that's not the case.

It's just a 2K 32" monitor.

The browsing window is hardly using any CPU

If I run it back a few frames, it takes like 20 seconds to load the tiles. This PC is a powerhouse, so it's a miniscule workload for it.

It looks like you have the browser window zoomed out though, try it with it on normal 100% zoom, and I suspect it'll be fine. I troubleshot this exact issue previously.

The browser window is at 100%. I always keep it at 100%. The zooming is only ever done with the map.

As I asked before when you mentioned this, I would really need to see a HAR file to look at what's going on, as it's not something happening widely and not re-creatable locally, on a similar-sized 2k screen or on our remote testing software either.

If you can send it over via the site, I'll have a closer look and respond in the ticket:
https://community.netweather.tv/contact/

But please sanitise it first.

Just updated the radar to the latest version and it seems much smother and indeed quicker
