 Mapantz

Don't bother with the models now that we can see what'll potentially hit us anyway. Some accas still around here but the calm now here. Hopefully the one before the storm.

Not sure what to make of tonight/tomorrow morning. Some models have some decent looking storm forecasts cross from SE and through parts of C/S England towards the W country.

Others are showing it to be a damp squib apart from those further SE, where the highest 'energy' looks to be restricted to, with that dreaded morning thundery rain for most.

I'm looking forward to the small hours..(I live on a hill in Saltdean just 5-6 miles east of Brighton Pier) My bedroom window faces South-east so I'm hoping for a distant light show if nothing else.

Has gone very humid across Herts.  I notice the band of rain in the west. Could this turn thundery as it moves east into the warm air. Possibly meeting the storms coming up from the continent. I have a feeling that South of London  will get some big ones!

It's building right now. But we'll still have to wait till at least the channel to really have that much of an idea. Unfortunately as is often the case with these, we're going to have to have a lot of patience.

Belgian storms just moving into radar range, looks in a good position for SE, Essex, and hopefully here in Suffolk. I can't see how they are holding up just yet unless someone has any info. Hopefully these storms haven't changed/used up the expected energy profiles and make it across the North Sea.
