    Light-moderate snow is now accumulating on bushes, grass etc in Wandsworth but solid surfaces are still wet.

    Wandsworth - light snow, not settling on anything yet. Surfaces wet. Quite windy. I suspect the small amount of extra altitude at places like Crystal Palace (report above) is helping there.

    HIRLAM 6z gives 10cm in London for the 24 hour period between 7am Saturday and 7am Sunday, and 15cm on the South Downs. I will be interested to see what happens as I usually use EURO4 for short term predictions.

    It would be interesting to find a figure for the actual amount of rainfall over the festival in comparison to the models just before. I'd estimate it to be some way more than 1-3mm, the site did get quite muddy in prone areas for a time after the Friday rainfall, but nothing like the mud baths of 2005 or 2007. Does anyone know where the nearest weather station with historical data is?

    It should definitely snow, as long as DPs and temps don't rise for you. Temperature has now dropped 0.5C in the last hour, DP is also slowly dropping but still at 1.9C, only rain still.

    What's your altitude? Interesting as i'm not far from you but just persistent rain here. I am approx 70m asl.

    T and DP dropping slightly here, now 2.9C and 2.0C. Persistent rain, no sleetyness at all.

    Not at all, it predicted DPs of -1C to 0C for now in my area, the actual DP is 2C which is why it's raining. NAE also suggested temps about 1C all night, it's currently 3C.

    Temp and DP have levelled off for the last haf hour or so, at 3.1C and 1.9C. Rain is getting heavier, does not seem to have sleet mixed in as i'd thought earlier.

    The Dew points and temperatures shown on the 18z NAE are just incorrect at +3h and +6h. Projected dewpoint between -1C and 0C but it's actually +1.7C. Which explains why the NAE is predicting snowfall south of London, but that it's unlikely to happen.

    The warm front hasn't crossed the SE yet has it? I was under the impression it was part of the "main band"

    Temp 1.9C and DP 0.6C, both still rising quite rapidly. That's Leatherhead only 20 miles SW from central London, i'd suggest rain for this region and London an almost certainty.

    Temperature and DP increasing for weather stations SW of London around the surrey area, DP tipping above 0C already. So not expecting snow around here unfortunately.

    Temp and DP slowly rising near Leatherhead according to local weather station. Temp 1.2C from a low of 0.9C at 17:30 DP -0.2C from a low of -1.7C

    Heavy snow currently on the M25 J22-23, you can see it on the traffic webcams (quite a narrow band on radar stretching from the north side of the M25 through Watford and High Wycombe).

    Distinct thaw and lots of dripping this afternoon near Leatherhead at 75m asl. Looking out for wintry ppn this evening with interest, not really expecting anything.
