  1. My weather station said it was 31.5 at 1400 last Sunday but when I read the national high was 29 something in Dorset I came to the conclusion mine must be wrong!  It's reading 31.2 as I type...Posted Image

Have just looked on Wunderground & there is an amateur station in Torquay there, currently reading similar to Plymouth Posted Image

Sounds like it's over exposed,  no 'official' weather stations in Torbay, but Plymouth was reading 23.9C at midday. Highest 'official' reading at midday was Hurn with 28.6C Posted Image

Here it is yet another gorgeous sunny day of the Costa Del Solent, don't think we will beat Monday's max of 30.4C as we keep getting a sea breeze kick in, but still lovely & warm Posted Image Temperature is 25.5C.

  3. If someone could tease the DISPLACED (happy now Mushymanrob Posted Image) Azores high into the north sea we would be very grateful, sincerely the residents of South East England.

I'm quite happy here with north easterly winds as, like this past week, this part of the country can often be the warmest Posted Image

Looking very good for much of the UK right through to next weekend & a chance of some thunderstoms for some over the weekend too, can't get much better than that Posted Image

  4. Hi Sunnysouthcoast, I got 27C here in Drayton today and it has maxed between 28C-30C since Sunday, similar to local official readings ... it's serious heatwave down here in the Solent! When it's sunny and the winds are from the North-East, you need to add a couple of degrees down here to the temperatures elsewhere, no forecasts including the MO seem to reflect this!

Hi Posted Image Yes Solent Met Station was warmest in the UK again today with 28.1C & just had its 4th day in a row of +28C temperatures. Here in the city it has been a bit higher, was 28.5C today & have hit just over 30C too Posted Image The forecasts always under do the temperatures in these set ups, the forecast high for today was 26C for example. It really has been the Costa Del Solent these last few days Posted Image
