    A dry & mostly sunny morning here on the Hampshire coast, though patchy cloud has been bubbling up more & more over the last hour or so. Was quite a cool night too, by recent comparison. Last night's minimum: 14C (57F) Current temperature: 19C (66F)

    Just had another heavy downpour here & the second thunderstorm of the day too! This last one actually had lightning too, as opposed to just hearing rumbles of thunder... Sun is back out now though, what a day of extremes!

    Was a decent morning until around an hour ago when we had a heavy shower & was 19C (66F) before the rain. It's now partly cloudy with intermittent sunny spells, some of the clouds are of the dark & "full of rain" variety! Last night's minimum temp: 15C (59F) Current temperature: 17C (63F)

    A much better day than was forecast by Met Office/BBC down here today, has been gorgeous & sunny all day & much warmer than the 19C predicted too... Do they not think that if we get a night time low of 17C then temperatures are not going to rise more than 2C, on a sunny day in July?!? <_< Anyway it peaked here this afternoon at 25.5C (78F) & Southsea beach was packed again... Currently: Sunny & 24C (75F)

    Turned into a gorgeous afternoon here, clear blue sky & wall to wall sunshine, the beach was packed this afternoon. Maxed out at 24C (75F), so warmer than forecast for here (as usual :huh: ) Currently: Sunny & 22C (72F)

    No rain or storms here overnight, it appears they all made landfall along the coast in Sussex This morning started off sunny, but now more cloud has began to bubble up, still pleasant out though & a nice fresh breeze blowing making it feel more comfortable than the last few days...     Georgie Palmer on South Today also said tomorrow could hit 34C (93F) somewhere within the region... Sunshine is back here proper now & temp is at 26C (79F).

    A sunny morning here in Portsmouth, though the sun has now turned quite hazy as some high cloud has rolled across the sky, feeling rather humid though. Last night's minimum: 18.5C (65F) Current temperature: 24C (75F)

    Well I live near the beach IN Portsmouth :lol: Today was disapointing, it started sunny, then the cloud came in & stayed there for most of the day At around 2pm it cleared briefly & the temp went up to 25C, but then clouded over again & the temp stayed at 23C all afternoon, mind you last night only saw a low of 19C ... It was purely the cloud that kept it cooler today though as yesterday it was sunny down here & 28C & even now it is still cloudy & 21C... :huh:

    Unbroken sunshine & light breeze has seen the temp rise to 28C (82F) here (thanks as well to the U.H.I effect)
