    Getting hammered here in Ashford, Kent..... Booming thunder accompanying CG lightening. Running the satellite sequence we seem to be stuck in a streamer !No sleep if this carries on. Almost continuous torrential rain as well.

    Just been outside and saw a very distant flash to the SE. getting closer

    A decent circular blob looks to be getting its act together as it approaches south Kent from the channel (according to sat24) and looks to have my name on it. Lots of haze here so can't make out any cloud definition but being only 6 miles from the coast I will keep my ears pinned back for my first rumblings of the summer.

    Lovely day here in south Kent. Cloudless and 25 C. Hoping for a thundery breakdown Friday and very jealous of all the storms up north. Not a storm this year to date so far.

    Nothing here this year. Just hoping a few imports drift over the channel in the next few months. I think we have produced a few that have drifted into other areas of Kent and gone electric.
