  17. Ah Yes I remember that! South-west England and the west country did recieve a huge amount of snow. Okehampton eventually recieved 55cm of snow by the 6th. Parts of the south-west recieved the most snow in the entire country. And keeping to this topic, apart from the north-west, Suffolk recieved little or no snow, i remember the radar for the East of England, and it showed barely any preticipation in Suffolk, and if i remember, there was ever so slightly milder air in Suffolk. Later on in the day, a band of Snow from France tracked northwards, and a little milder air followed on, so Suffolk was mostly snow free the next morning, however, in Cambridgeshire, there was a complete covering! :D

  20. This year twice it happened. On the night of sunday 7th February, the met office had predicted two inches of snow, none fell. The next night as you may remember, a winter storm was forecasted, with up to 10cm of snow in my area. It rained for the good part of a day, then it started snowing at about 10pm. Only 1/2 hour later, it had turned back to rain. It happened last October aswell, we missed out on the snow, it was rain Another one was 3rd January 2008, when about 3 inches of snow was forecasted, but there was only an odd flurry. The last one was sometime in June 2007, when i remember very heavy rain was forecast but none actually fell.
  21. In one of the Highland locations such as Tulloch Bridge, Altnaharra and Braemar, is where the lowest temperature will be. in one of these, -20.2C For my location, i am going to say -8C
  22. Last year i didnt get any snow in October, it fell as rain Due to the El Nino in the Pacific and you may know that a Strong El nino is very bad in terms it means at mild winter, but it probably will weaken before the new year so cold spells are most likely to happen after Christmas in January and February Welcome to the forum aswell
