    Moderate snow here for the last 25 mins, everwhere white, except some of the road, still coming down, under 0c and 1cm currently I also woke to a small covering on cars and roofs and grass this morning, around 0.5cms snowking

    well, i awoke to another cm this morning... i have had a further 4 snow shower since, and one more this evening... the one this evening has given another 1cm covering to cars, grass and roofs... snowking

    we just had a heavy snow shower for 30 mins, temporarily settled everywhere, but now it has melted from the pathe, leaving another 1cm across the grass, cars and roofs snowking

    I live about 2 miles away, it is currently very wet with minial snowfall left. However, it is already 0c, and more clouds are buoilding to the NE at the moment, we have been told to expect perhaps 1 inch overnight, and maybe more tomorrow morning, but most of it has been melting pretty quickly afterwards... snowking

    I thought i would update this for the snow league well, since i posted yesterday evening, i have had a further incredible 9 SNOW SHOWERS and 2 HAIL SHOWERS. 4 of the snow showers were extremely heavy, and layed for about 30 mins- 1 hour, plus ones we had last night i woke up to 2cms this morning, and 3 of the showers today gave 1cm each, so i have probably had around 4cms of snow, maybe a little more, but most of it has melted afterwards.... snowking

    well, so far, i had 2 snow showers overnight, i have had 3 hail showers, on soft hail/snow showers (WITH THUNDER!!!) and a heavy snow showers, and all in all, i have had aroound 1cm.. should get better later on... snowking

    Just to report i have had 5 light snow flurries, not even enough to set, it virtually evaporated as soon as it touched the ground due to the wind, and i have had another shower 20 mins ago, that was a sleet shower.. snowking

    Its been snowing on and off for the last 2 hours, its so windy i had to give up playing golf , still snowing still snowing now, we've had 5 showers now. Incredible, they wern't sopposed to come until tomorrrow. snowking

    well, last night, about 11.15, i got a blizzard like showers for 25 mins, temporarily gae a covering on cars, grass and roofs of 0.5cms. This was amazing as the road was so wet from 2 earlier rain/sleet showers that there was puddles everywhere, and a light shower about 6ish this morning, gave another 0.5cm covering.

    I have just seen a sleet/wet snow shower, lasted 5 mins, today, i have seen a rain/sleet/snow shower (not actually here, whilst i was on the road!!!) and 2 hail showers, aswell as the sleet shower i have just seen... snowking

    Yesterday evening, we saw steady sleet fall, it turned briefly to snow, but did not settle at 9.00, and then it snowed with big puffy flakes from 9.30-9.50 PM, and amazingly settled for a time on very wet surfaces, giving a dusting, but didn't last long, snowking

    Now lightly hailing/snowing in NW essex, im not sure if that is the streamer, or the precip band from the NW, but soon, we shall see. snowking

    By the way, i just found out from my mum (who works nights) that we had light snow for about 1/2 an hour last night, which gave a temp. covering of 1cm, it meted 1/2 hour later. snowking

    I have so far counted 7 snow showers, and 2 haily snow showers, looks like i might be getting anothershower soon, starting to cloud from the NE. Unfortunalely, we had some snow settle, but it melted, and there have been 4 sowers since then, about 2 of them had huge flakes, andwere very heavy, but failed to settle. If the showers had of setled, we could have had at least an inch by now, as we have had overall 4 blizzard like showers. snowking

    Finally. the first wintry action i have seen this january. The rain just turned to snow and hail, admitadely, for about 2 mons, but hail stones amazingly settled on the drenched surface, now melting. snowking

    light rain/sleet falling here, hoping we might see a little wet snow or something. snowking

    i had an extremley heavy hail/snow shower at 3.30pm, it was a whiteout for about 15mins, the temp went from 7.6c to 3.1 c, it was hail the size of marbles, some bigger, then freezing rain, then snow. About 1.5cms for a while, now most of it has all gone.

    coming down nr stansted airport for about half an hour, covering on the cars, grass, and increasingly the paths, the worts for me is still t come on saturday nite and sunday!!!
