  1. Yeah Ronan I think it's one of those I will come back and visit in January times. That said we always must remember the bias to report on South East England mostly, but not looking good anywhere apart from usual spots at the minute

Agree about the size of the snowflakes yesterday, absolutely massive!! Even better the snow was high quality snowball stuff and I dare say for building snowmen. More of the same please

  7. Jesus not looking good for the Shannon Area over the next few days, worst flooding in the past 20 years. It was mentioned on the main BBC weather this morning by the lovely Caroline

  13. Actually the gusts are a lot stronger than Clodagh, well according to the way my tiles are lifting...
  14. A definite gale out there tonight, thankfully not as much rain as I had feared, winds definitely on a par with Clodagh so far
  15. A stormy drive home from Belfast this evening. Not as much rain as I feared but definitely windy. Seen my first red kite bird flying across the M1 just before junction 9which to a geek like me was rather exciting, the girlfriend was rather non plused though...
  16. 36 hours of rain projected over here from today onwards, coupled with a strong breeze not the most appealing of weekends . The rivers and lower ground flood plains should be interesting to see...
