  1. Well that was an interesting read on the model thread, not for weather reasons though!!!
  2. Good to see some potential for tomorrow, then it's cold rain after that, joy...
  3. Hello Ali and a big welcome we are a lovely friendly bunch in here so please post away
  4. Your right Mountain low to low to low, hopefully this much anticipated mid January switch around happens if even for just a dry week!!!
  5. Twas a wild night hopefully we all came through unscathed and no damage done. The model thread is starting to fatigue me again with its swings from high to low lol
  6. He didn't even though it showed on the graphics behind him lol!! It took the RTE weather to mention it!!!
  7. I hear ye Bob, no electricity no fun. Potential for some wintry showers tomorrow too apparently!!!
  8. Just watched the RTE news desperate stuff in the West of Ireland Some talk of a sting low tomorrow bringing stronger winds (what ever that is) stay safe folk's
  9. Same here Sperrin the wind has really picked up, really howling around the rafters now
  10. Neiller you must have been on complaining to the BBC, Barra was very concerned looking tonight, giving out flood line numbers and everything lol
  11. The wind is not to bad here either, the rain is starting to pick up though....
  12. I am off the same opinion Bomber, I have been surprised at the lack of some warnings
  13. Indeed Jello serious surface water last night and no warnings for it either, you would wonder what Frank will bring
  14. Hope you are right Sperrin although I don't see any mention in the Meto forecast, fingers crossed. The roads around Carrickmore and Pomeroy where a disgrace with the rain last night
  15. Oh dear always was the potential for this to be raised, stained glass window of rain, I only want to see amber warning for snow, which is not looking likely for a walk yet if at all!!!
  16. An "interesting" day ahead if you like wind and rain, personally I don't, very conflicting information on the Model Thread, although some interesting analysis of what may/can/will/won't happen post 144hrs. Anyway folk's stay safe and hope all your home's stay dry.
  17. Lol Neill, I can't really take any of our forecasters seriously always a drollness in their presentations. ..
  18. Indeed Born just seen the RTE weather, not looking good especially for Galway!!
  19. Savage rain this evening, a lot of flooding on the roads, surprised there has been no warnings for Tyrone at least not sure how the rest of you are getting on??
  20. Liam just want to say a big thanks for all the updates and work you put into the Storm thread, cheers buddy
  21. Merry Christmas to you as well Baltic :-), a lot of interest piqued in the model thread, as always I am somewhat wary of what this means for us as the Southeast England bias will be in full mode. Tuesday and Wednesday look interesting from a wind and rain point of view...
