The temperature in Ramsgate has dropped 2 degrees in 90 minuites ... the temp now +0.8c ;o)

I can see the showers hitting the Margate, Ramsgate area of Kent, so near but yet so far
Then the sun came out, the temp has risen from +1.2c to +2.8c and its all melting ;o(

Looking at the radar there's a nice rash of showers coming towards the East tip of Kent / Thanet from the North East ... i just hope they beef up and give us all along the far East and South of Kent a real good dumping ;o)
Here we go ... snowing quite heavy and settling nicely ;o)

You lucky lot with an inch ... we had a dusting a few hours ago in Ramsgate but there are some clouds beefing up on the horizon ;o)
The temp here is currently +2.2c and slowly dropping away as the day progresses ;o)
It is feeling very bitter out but the sun keeps on shining trying to warm up ...

Hi, I am surprised it is so warm where you are. Even down here on the South coast it has slowly crept down to 2.7C. Is that still cold enough for snow? If anything reaches this far that is!
I know, i even put a good old fashioned mercury thermometer out incase it was my weather station playing up as I know half the batteries in the sensors are going flat but the merc states just below 5c too ;o(

Temperatures here around 0C, I would expect the South East to reach 0C by midnight at the latest
It better start dropping quick in that case as its still sitting at +4.7c

according to my station (if its correct) it is still 3.9c outside
And still showing +4.7c on mine ... the cold air must be knocking on our front door by now ... if not then it cant be that far away ... can it ???

Got to say in down town London today has been GRIM. Hammered it down all day with freezing cold rain. Magic
Got to say in Ramsgate its been raining most of the day too ;o( temp has been about and still is +5.3c ... dew point +5c

It was a sweaty 10.6c earlier in Ramsgate ;o(
I like the winters to be cold and snowy with the summers hot and sunny ... so bring it on !

Yeah right, the temp is +2c ... we never got anything good last night so will proberly be the same again tonight in Ramsgate ;o(

As for snow yesterday. Not a lot to be honest. We had small flakes falling from about midday, blowing in the wind. Then we had a heavy spell of snow around 2.45pm, which lasted about 30 mins, before turning to rain for the rest of the day. Didn't settle on anything.
What about you? Any snow showers yesterday?
Anyone care to comment on Rob M's forecast on the Beeb last night?

We had mega flakes of snow yesterday at around 16:30 yesterday, they looked like big feathers ...
At the mmoment the temp in Ramsgate is +4.5c with spits and spots of rain in the wind ...
Looking forward to the events later this afternoon and into tonight ;o)

The temp in Ramsgate at the mo is +0.4c ... has anyone seen any sign of snow yet ? im sure I just saw a few rouge flakes drift past my IR CCTV camera which overlooks the driveway ...

The temp in Ramsgate Kent is fluctuating between +0.6C and -0.5 ... the lowest its been this evening so far is -0.9c

It's a garage wall (west wall, so I guess that's east facing) in a very small garden. Nothing covering it.
Well if you have 4.9C it must be enclosed space that's affecting my temp. Not sure what to do with it.
My station is showing temp of +1.6c at the moment in Ramsgate ;o) ... and still falling away slowly although im not expecting it to fall much further than 1.

Looking out the window I can see some beefy showers skirting along the South East coast of Kent.

After a terrible days weather yesterday today is bright and cheerful in East Kent this morining.
Yesterday it started raining at about 10:00 and never stopped until about 22:00, an amazing 12 hours of non stop rain with the heaviest at in the late afternoon to evening.
The temperature this morning is 13 degrees with lovely sun shine ...
Can anyone else top 12 hours of rain yeterday ?

Yeah, my machine measured -2.7c last night ... looking at the radar there is a blip of somthing heading this way ... well I think anyway
