Alot of convection here, Cb cells towards the north, and others developing westwards. Ingredients are right at the moment, but if anything is going to happen then it may well take another hour or so. Shall see what happens, but am keeping an eye open, just in case.

Fine, dry morning so far. Sky mostly cloudy (about 7/8ths cover), Ac and developing Cu that is showing signs of breaking the Ac shield. Light SW wind, 94% humidity, temp 14C

Some heavy rain early on this morning, and patchy lighter rain up to lunch time. Remains overcast with further precipitation likely at any time. Very gusty westerly wind (26mph) and temp of 16C making it feel like Autumn.

Quite a nice day here. Some sunny intervals, especially this morning, but it clouded over towards midday with the odd light shower. That cloud is now breaking again. Temp 18C. Wind SW at about 18mph

Cool with a Northerly wind at 21mph, temp 14C, and overcast (Stratus, Nimbostratus and some pannus) producing light, patchy rain at times. Not a day to be beside the seaside

Generally cloudy sky, Cumulus mediocris and Altocumulus, with some breaks in places. Moderate NE'ly wind (15mph), temp 17C. Maybe a light shower here later, but nothing more.

Dry and warm morning. Temp 18C, 64% rel Humidity and light wind from the NW. Quite a bit of convection evident though as alot of Cumulus Mediocris are visible and building.

Sorry mate, just come back on-line and just seen your post. Apart from a brief light shower, nothing happened. Infact all the convection has now gone into the North Sea or spread out into Stratocumulus. Still humid and rather muggy here though.

Getting very dark over to my W now as a large cell approaches. Could have heavy rain at least very soon.

Dry and sunny morning so far. Light winds, temp 17C, just a little patchy Sc in the western skies and distant signs of shallow Cu.

Its raining here now, and has been doing so for the past 10 mins. No thunder or lighning though, yet the sky is very dark and threatening.

Yet another large and menacing cell approaching again from the WNW. Sky is very dark and could very well be very similar to what happened earlier.

As quickly as it started it has all about ended. Brief but brilliant, with all the right ingredients in a relatively small but powerful package. Could be your turn tomorrow Lynxus, and if so you will be making the rest of us feel left out.

Got the whole works now. Thunder, lightning, torrential rain, all accompanied by a very strong wind which sprang up out of nowhere!! Now a clearance is on the way just to add a bit more colour to the mix.

Thuinder and lightning intensity increasing, but so far not rain, but it is very dark. Edit: It has just started raining heavily

Can now see lightning to my NW as well as even more louder and deeper rumbles of thunder. The storm appears to be rotating, and I am watching an area of virga that has possibilities for a funnel cloud.

Very dark, ugly looking sky to my NW, and can hear deep, low rumbles of thunder. Seems to be passing me by though.

Hi mate. Radar looking promising, but so far just a couple of showers here and the odd rumble. See what happens when that organised band (?trough) comes across us. It could hit you and fizzle out before it gets to me.

Very dark, angry skies to my west and north, and can hear rumbles of thunder. Radar clearly showing plenty more to come yet.

Getting progressively darker here now, and looking more threatening. One large cell to my WSW.

Just had a moderate storm here, about 6 flashes of lightning and equal number of thunder claps, but the rain that fell was torrential, and there has been some local flooding. It remains cloudy and there looks to be more storms banked up in the SW heading my way. Radar is confirming this. Seems to be some kind of trough. Could be eventful for the next hour or so.

Rain has ceased and skies are clearing now. The worst appears to have gone to the east of me, but if the radar is to be believed it should still be raining at least. Thanks. Am keeping an eye open on these as things do seem to be beginning to die down

Another rumble of thunder as the shower is now passing over me. Heavy rain falling too, and radar shows more to come.
