  1. Contrary to the met office predictions, I am predicting some snow in the next couple of hours for parts of Norfolk, and eastern areas of North Suffolk. So there.
  2. Just back from a walk along the snow covered beach. Very cold here, lovely sunshine but I'm sure we must be the coldest place in the UK.
  3. Might be worth a look at the forecast to find out what the forecast might be http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/uk/uk_forecast_weather.html
  4. Yes your'e so right. We have snow on the ground, and 4 days of sub zero temperatures and sunshine. What could be better. Bye for now as I must start cleaning the house.
  5. I have all the family arriving for Christmas this afternoon and the met office forecast for Lowestoft is 4 whole days of unbroken sunshine, it's going to be wonderful.

  9. I was wrapped up, but I certainly wasn't warm. The temperature here has dropped like a stone.
  10. Just come back from a walk along the beach, and without fear of contradiction this is the coldest I have ever known the weather to be here. Perishing, Feeezing. Must be mius 6 or 7. Bitterly Cold.
  11. I can hear the waves crashing on the beach now, the wind has certainly picked up in the last half an hour. Not as strong as yesterday but still blustery. A definite change in the wind direction too.
  12. Yes we now have a grand total of 0.000025mm of snow. Edit: Sorry it has now dissapeared.
  13. No problem Paul, we live overlooking the North Sea and yesterday afternoon and evening was horrendous, there are a lot of damaged properties, thankfully most of it minor. I was suprised that there seemed to be no reports on these storms yesterday. I suppose some fluffy white stuff pushes all the other weather stories out of the news.
  14. Proof that it wasn't just snow that was a problem yesterday, big wind and big seas off of Lowestoft. Film taken by my husband of a tug having a real struggle. Posted this once but the topic closed straightaway.
  15. Film taken by my husband of a tug in the North Sea yesterday fighting against the strong winds and heavy seas.
  16. No snow here in Lowestoft, no school closures, no travel disruption. Puuurrrfect. Just going for a stroll along the beach.
  17. Update from the most easterly town in the UK. It has now gone from breezy to windy. From my lounge window I can see the North Sea waves being whipped up, it's looking very spectacular. Now going for a nice stroll along the beach.
  18. A sunny, but breezy morning here in the most easterly town in the UK. Much milder than yesterday.
  19. That was without fear of contradiction the most pathetic amount of snow I have ever had the misfortune to witness.
