Hot and very humid today, 30c reached on my thermometer :!: It is in the shade-honest
Thought storms were possible as around 1400 there were some large cnb towers building but they've shrunk.
Now 26c and still sunny.
-
Very warm and humid with hazy sunshine since lunchtime.
Breezier this evening so a little more pleasant.
22c now after 24c max.
-
Mostly cloudy, some hazy sunshine (as most of the day has been).
19c currently, 21c max.
-
Fine with sunny spells 21c
-
 BORING
No sun, no rain, no wind, 16c.
-
Seems like the heat is on up North then.
Mostly cloudy here all day, some sunny spells helped temps to 19c around midday. Now is still cloudy and calm and 15c.
-
A mostly clear fresh sunny end to what has been a partly cloudy day with some pleasant sunshine. Tops of 19c, now 15c.
-
Thunderstorm clearing
See storm sightings section as I'm just going to post there.
18c

Had a few showers as they developed late morning.
I'm now in an interesting situ as the largest clear slot on the satellite is just next to me but also I'm on the edge of a large shower which looking at the sferics gave some lightning near Bristol a little earlier.
It's also very windy as opposed to the forecast.
Temp 18c, reached 21 in the sunnier spell a few hours back.
-
Well Highcliffe it is sunny inland
Had some moderate showers this morning but it's been fine since 1300 ish and rather warm and humid. Hit 22c earlier and now is 20c.
Can see large CNB to the north where the lightning detector is showing some strikes but I don't think it's heading this way.
-
Not many people active on here today
After I posted earlier the sky cleared again and temp hit 27c :!:
Now it really is overcast and threatening and tropical feeling.
-
Turning very cloudy now after a sunny morning which saw 26c by lunchtime. As at times last week there are some interesting cumulo style cloud shapes among the impending frontal cloud.
Wind gentle from the S. Temp now 24c. Lots of rain to come I think.
-
A beautiful sunny evening, 24c after reaching 26c earlier.
-
Clear and cool-15c.
Last night min was a very muggy 17c, rose to an equally muggy 19c before the rain which was only light and showery. This cleared to a sunny late afternoon and evening.
-
A thundery feeling evening with large CNBs.Half hour downpour earlier after a sunny and humid day. Top of 24c and now 20c. Not a breath of wind-in fact pretty uncomfortable.
-
First shower gave 2 mins big spots but it was easy to see by the cloud structure that it had been a storm earlier.
Now clear overhead but looking interesting on the UKlightning towards south Dorset and Somerset. Roll on Met Office next radar.
-
Now overcast with spits of rain from the first shower that seems to have died from what it was a few hours back. Sky looks as if it could explode at any time as some of the clouds are very black.
Some gusts of wind from the SE and temp now at 18c.
-
Some interesting cumulo type clouds building, especially to the South into what has been a mostly sunny sky all day. Temp still 24c as high as it's got and increasingly humid feeling too. Local forecaster on the radio mentioned showers/storms becoming reinvigorated over the South after crossing the channel and hitting our hot air. Radar for 1600 looks interesting just off the coast too.Um, I wonder :?: :!:
-
A calm clear sunny evening after a day just the same
Pollen is ok so I can enjoy it :!:
Top temp was 23c and is now 21c.
-
It's been a fine fresh day here after a lot of rain overnight.
Top temp reached 19c with brisk NW breeze.
Evening is totally clear.

:x :x :x
In the words of Victor Meldrew "I don't believe it!"
While away in Cornwall I miss my Saturday hat-trick and another storm this morning. Only had one distant rumble yesterday pm in mid Cornwall and plenty of steady rain all the way home.
Now here is 18c,very humid,no wind and steady rain from an overcast sky.
Did hit 27c earlier.
-
A clear fresh evening (14c) after a stunning sunny day (20c max).

Yes back on topic
Fascinating here right now....
...Massive cnb seem to be building to my E/SE
...then a clear slot
...very low cloud approaching from W/NW-must be the cold front and it looks like it may rain although nothing on radar.
...clear looking behind the low cloud
Basically I am in the middle of where the hot/humid is meeting the fresher conditions.
Now it is 22c following a max of 25c with a lovely breeze since mid afternoon.
