  1. Yes back on topic :lol:

    Fascinating here right now....

    ...Massive cnb seem to be building to my E/SE

    ...then a clear slot

    ...very low cloud approaching from W/NW-must be the cold front and it looks like it may rain although nothing on radar.

    ...clear looking behind the low cloud

    Basically I am in the middle of where the hot/humid is meeting the fresher conditions.

    Now it is 22c following a max of 25c with a lovely breeze since mid afternoon.

  2. Hot and very humid today, 30c reached on my thermometer :!: It is in the shade-honest :wink:

    Thought storms were possible as around 1400 there were some large cnb towers building but they've shrunk.

    Now 26c and still sunny.

  3. Had a few showers as they developed late morning.

    I'm now in an interesting situ as the largest clear slot on the satellite is just next to me but also I'm on the edge of a large shower which looking at the sferics gave some lightning near Bristol a little earlier.

    It's also very windy as opposed to the forecast.

    Temp 18c, reached 21 in the sunnier spell a few hours back.

  4. Well Highcliffe it is sunny inland 8)

    Had some moderate showers this morning but it's been fine since 1300 ish and rather warm and humid. Hit 22c earlier and now is 20c.

    Can see large CNB to the north where the lightning detector is showing some strikes but I don't think it's heading this way.

  5. First shower gave 2 mins big spots but it was easy to see by the cloud structure that it had been a storm earlier.

    Now clear overhead but looking interesting on the UKlightning towards south Dorset and Somerset. Roll on Met Office next radar.

  6. Now overcast with spits of rain from the first shower that seems to have died from what it was a few hours back. Sky looks as if it could explode at any time as some of the clouds are very black.

    Some gusts of wind from the SE and temp now at 18c.

  7. Some interesting cumulo type clouds building, especially to the South into what has been a mostly sunny sky all day. Temp still 24c as high as it's got and increasingly humid feeling too. Local forecaster on the radio mentioned showers/storms becoming reinvigorated over the South after crossing the channel and hitting our hot air. Radar for 1600 looks interesting just off the coast too.Um, I wonder :?: :!:

  8. :x :x :x

    In the words of Victor Meldrew "I don't believe it!"

    While away in Cornwall I miss my Saturday hat-trick and another storm this morning. Only had one distant rumble yesterday pm in mid Cornwall and plenty of steady rain all the way home. :cry:

    Now here is 18c,very humid,no wind and steady rain from an overcast sky.

    Did hit 27c earlier.

  9. Location=Westbury, Wilts

    Temp=16c (same as last nights min :!: :) ) high of 18c as

    there has been only a little sun and some drizzle

    Humidity=definitely high

    Wind=brisk westerly

    Cloud cover=most of sky,just a few breaks

    A really strange day.
