This really annoys me .. teachers and caretakers / parents should be out scraping paths and driveways etc .. it should be expected that parents teachers etc will contribute - get up earlier - shovels out there is no need to close everything after a few inches of snow .

Extra council tax for those that don’t muck in

It doesn’t take long to clear a path or driveway once you have many hands at work .

Get stuck in , work off that Christmas gut , graft and keep things moving ...

Unfortunately due to health and safety no one other than the caretaker can help clear and all doors exits and pathways must be clear including car parks,a lot of work for one caretaker !

I think there's a bit of confusion involved here: Fergie tweeted two charts, one from Jan. 23rd and one from midnight, two show how the forecast can and does change. The one from the 23rd showed a rain event, the one from midnight shows the snow event, which is still very much on.

Omg! Thanks for sorting that out, thought my heart was going to give out!

I don't know how long it will take to stick tomorrow, perhaps there will be one or 2 showers ahead of the snow

Blackwood area currently, I don't know the temperatures, but a frost has already developed on the bins and bus shelter
May'be we could be looking at such a thick frost it could help to keep the ground cool all day ?
I really wish I had a thermometer .. surely there's one here somewhere o,o --- yes I found a thermostat!! welcome to the family

It’s currently -3 here in Blackwood!
