Currently in Llandrindod as well and there is a nice covering and snow is falling

the forecasting even 2 hours in advance has been very poor recently. yesterday the forecast was rain all day for today and now they are saying it will turn sunny later on today.

the sun has burst through here in cardiff and another pleasantly warm day. not sure why i'm reading everywhere about another rubbish summer. so far we've had decent weekends and whilst not being boiling hot we've had much better weather so far than the previous 5 or 6 ones. i've even seen someone saying they haven't turned their heating off yet. they must have a cold body.

five consecutive pleasant days. 2 rubbish days and then another couple of pleasant days over the weekend. I can take that.

thats a new definition for a drought isn't it? no-one is seriously suggesting we are short of water currently are they? Or are they?

i'd imagine andymusic is getting more offers from the met office as we speak after predicting this latest blizzard? this is not nasty just would like andy to be a little less enthusiastic and claim that he knows more than the professionals. we all get things wrong and we all get them right but to claim that you know better is a bit rum. here's hoping to a final hurrah for winter in the next month or so.

well i've just been out to get my supplies. I've spent my whole months budget on food as Andymusic said February 6th is going to be the big day for snow. I've told work i won't be coming in. I hope the £700 i have spent today won't be wasted. Afterall Andy is going to work for the met office and knows EVERYTHING about the weather. cheers Andy

heaviest its been here at 52 foot above sea level for the last 5 days. it actually feels colder and more penetrating than the initial snowfalls of 2010 but without the amounts. Barely a cm in 2 hours. not complaining though its great stuff.

can someone make it a sticky about ground too wet and snow not being able to stick, even though that isn't true? snowing in adamsdown.

if you don't understand why the uk gets the weather we do then weather isn't the subject for you. we don't get half the rain as many countries by the way. we get a lot of course, but we're an island stuck off the atlantic which automatically attracts the weather we get, just like other countries. you can't change the weather we get, embrace it or end up going mad.......your choice.

i've read things like horror shows. the weather is the weather, we have zero impact on it. the way people on the mod threads go on is as if they can affect it. they can't.
