    Pleased you got some!!!!! Hoping blob gets us too!! lol Although it looks like its heading to Corby/Kettering way. Nothing fell overnight, and if it did it didnt add to what was already laying. Already starting to thaw on the grass, I can see tufts of green, and the snow on the fence posts is shrinking Temp 1.7c and dp 1.0c

    Something VERY Light starting to fall here, but it's so light I can't make out if its rain or snow. We have had a bit of a thaw going on .... snow is turning slushy already!!!! Temp 0.7c and dp 0.4c...... Interesting night ahead hopefully!! KW will that area to South of us reach Peterborough do you think? or will it dodge us?

    Wow!! 5ft drifts!!! Amazing!! Makes me wish I was 20 years older!! lol Thanks, Im glad we finally got our snow after a long winter of watching others!! Felt like be the sober friend at a very drunken party!! lol Cant wait to get out there with the kids tomorrow!

    There was snow March 1979 too, I was born beginning of April '79 and my mum has always remembered the snow before I was born! Dont know if it was in MK area though!

    Absolutely cracking snowfall!!! Falling thick and fast now! Approx 1.5" on hard surfaces and not showing any signs of letting up! TEITS I haven't had any electrical problems as yet, but being on the other side of the city we're probably on a different substation.

    Exactly why Im going when hubby gets in from work!!! dump the kids on him and dash out to Hampton!! Cant take my 2 with me!! They'd be put up for adoption by the time we were finished!! lol Roads looking OK in Orton as far as I can see!

    Hi Gratts, what part of Peterborough are you?? Cars having a nice covering here now, and even though the snowfall is light its stickingon grass, fences etc! hoorah!! Roads still clear! I may make it Tescos yet!! lol

    Certainly not settling here as yet, too wet! Temp 1.4 and DP 1.1 according to http://www.peterboroughweatherwatch.com/ Snow still falling though! If it could stop between 4 and 4.30 so hubby can get from work quickly then I'll be happy!! aahahahha

    Not settling on roads, but they are v wet. Starting to give a VERY light covering on grass. Hope they get home easily!

    Thanks for answering my question! Hampton is very close to me, Werrington is the other side of the city; TEITS territory. If it snows they will be the wrong side of the city for easy access to the A1 from Werrington. Looking at Rain today this should be hitting city v soon!

    Nothing as yet Huntso, still foggy!!! Better visibility now though! Will post as and when! Maybe a stupid question but can snow fall whilst its still foggy???
