Oddly even though TEITS and I live in the same city I havent seen the same snowfall as he has. We had snowfall yesterday and today, certainly nothing of note. This also happened wth the December snowfall, people on the other side of the city were telling me how tthey were making snowmen and we would have struggled to make a snow ball. I think I have become greedy for snow, but as it is such a relative rarity and there is a relative small window of opportuniy, every chance that passes us by only adds to the frustration. Last Feb spoilt us I think!

11.15 ish we had a shower, I think it may have been Graupel?? Was like polystyrene falling from the sky. This developed into a heavy but short snowfall which started to settle, however quickly melted as nothing lying on the ground already and cloud to sparse which is letting the sun out. I'd Be happy to have what you have MKSnowAngel... can you send it this way please!!lol

Naff all for this side of Peterborough overnight..... Hubby works in Market Deeping (North of us) and they got snow settled there, looks lovely (sent me a text picture this morning.,... I was not amused!!). Just had a very light snow flurry here, what did fall settled but has probably thawed already!

This smacks of the December snowfall... all fired up for us, and then the day before it transpires that the Kent lot are in the firing line again!! Think I may go and sulk in the corner!!

Just to let you know apparently heavy sleet/snow shower in the PE6 area (north of Peterborough)... wonder if it's hit TEITS yet??? Lol Paul, you may hve seen good snowfall in January.. not all of us did!!! :lol:

Same as you MK, we are forecast snow overnight tonight however, but I cant see it coming to fruition. Far to warm out currently... car temp reading 5c, ground will be too warm to settle even if we get snow falling. Would like to know what everyones take is on end of the week too please. Thanking you

Well I woke up a big suprise this morning... the SUN and blue skies!! temp approx 3c. Graupel trying to fall whilst on the school run, only a little amount! If it snows today then bonus, however I am happy with just seing the sky today!!! Hunsto, I will update my Avatar now for you!

My hubby and I often comment on her dress sense!!! Poor girl is an odd shape, but like you say, the outfits could be better!!! I think I missed the massive shoulder pads.... perhaps tomorrow will bring a cracker!! We dont get East Mids Today.... but I am loving the name "Sara Blizzard" as well... girl was destined to be a weather presenter with a name like that! Just to keep on topic.. still nothing falling from the sky!
