Whats this snow at christmas? but our local weather guru is going for a mild Christmas

Actually got caught in a little blizzard on the school walk! Bit fat wet (very cold) snow chunks. Too wet on the ground too settle. PAths were also deceptively slippy!
I can see that there is a covering up on Kinnoull hills etc so maybe Ally had it settle as she is that bit higher?
OTR only a litte dusting on the grass & pavements

Hi all
Rain & sleety and now SNOW
temp was 2.3 and now dropped to 1.6 in the past 20 mins. -
Current Temp 2.2 DP -0.2 280 asl Raining here, I might need my ice skates in the morning

I've been having problems logging in tonight?Edit: Storm warring on my Weather Station is flashing again - pressure 966.6Cousin in Ireland 20 miles from cork reporting power cut and very lively winds....been struggling to post keeps saying saving post....anyone else been having problems?
