I missed the Snow/Sleet was @ the Cinema watching Frozen
There wasn't Snow lying in City Centre but was there was a bit of Snow at home, it's amazing how that little bit of altitude makes the difference. Temp 2.1 DP -0.3-

It's getting a bit wild again out side, temp dropping now 4.1

An icy morning here with the odd sleet shower, looks like Nevis range did well last night with heavy snow and blizzards. A breif lull this morning befor more wind and rain sweeps in from the West again around mid-day.
don't remind me, it's my christmas night out tonight not looking forward to being blown about and soaked, I want some Snow

Morning Nothing but rain for me here also and I'm at about 280m. Hope we see some white stuff soon this pattern of wind & rain is getting boring nowMinimum overnight was +1.4C at 02.37 and currently +2.7C/+1.9C. 10.4mm of rain overnight - if only that had been snow! There must be a massive accumulation of snow above 300m.
P.S anyone heard from BUS, kinda worrying the way he disappeared

GFS 12z brings the precip to the Glasgow-Edinburgh isthmus but not much further:

Hmmmm its not looking very promising band has fragmented now, luck to get 2cm at this rate

Still very marginal down in the Glen Almond. Temperature +0.6C/-0.2C (-0.2C/hour).
Snow is lying much more easily up on the A85 Crieff road and especially on the M90 past Broxden roundabout.
This is the usual scenario for these parts in these synoptics.
I can confirm snow is settling up here - temp 0.0/-1.2 Hopefully it should start settling down in glens soon

Temp now 0.7/-0.9 snowing but still not settling on pavements & roads, getting a bit worried

i was expecting the snow to be much heavier than it actually has come to so far going by the charts and the forecast. very light snow in aberdeen now.
Was thinking the same, perhaps once the colder uppers push in the showers will intensify? If I am wrong please correct me
