Unsurprisingly a new 2024 high for me at 18.7 °C. Lovely when the sun was out, though a bit uninspiring when the murk returned later on.
I hit 18.9c….it’s that traditional time of the year though….when warmth can over night can turn to brrrr….today for most was absolutely dry that’s the main

In seeing the continuation regarding the model outputs of late
The last quarter of March is looking on the chilly side, with daytime temps in single figures and nighttime temps with frosts….if it continues we could see the CET finishing in the mid 7’s methinks
I’m guessing the EWP will finish, like you said “ somewhere towards the 90’s “

fairly decent day for brisk walking today. I walked about eight miles today with a brunch out in the middle, and it was actually fairly pleasant. Agreed that the wind chill was noticeable, but it was nice to be able to walk fastish up the hills without overheating in a coat! Tbh I'm just happy when it's dry - well, mostly dry as there were one or two brief showers. The river is about a metre down now from its peak, and though there's rain in the forecast (I know, what a shocker) it doesn't look *too* bad and so fingers crossed we'll get a longer respite from floods.
I couldn’t agree more….a respite is needed for sure

Its certainly been a wet one so far this month, my readings so far for February are at 66.5mm, but I’m sure the EWP will be somewhat higher methinks.
