  2. The meto updates are out and quite a shock NO CHANGE to yesterday for the midlands !!!!. Only AMBER ALERT for the SW for very heavy rain.
  3. Looking at the NAE even the south midlands will see plenty Just a little food for thought last night on the mod thread Ian Fergusson said the BBC weather tv graphics are a raw modified version of the NAE. Also i just carn't believe whats showing above and its coming on to the end of march hope it comes to frutition.
  4. Maybe at first friday that is, but as friday evening / saturday morning rolls on even parts of the south midlands will see snow.
  5. The forecast for most in the midlands will see 36 to 48 hrs of very heavy snow plus blizzards over high ground friday / saturday, Snow amount will differ depending on elevation and what part of the midlands you live but quite widely most will see 10 to 15 cm. Then a bitter easterly for three days.
  6. I second that all the way, get the petition going im sure most will back you all the way ha ha...
  7. Looking very good now for most of the midlands.... nae, ukmo, and the gfs all have snow across most of the midlands for fri/sat, Even the latest BBC forecast looks better !!! its more all less the same as the above chart with heavy snow hitting the midlands, north wales, northwest england and northen ireland . When i said it was more or less the same, just learn't from the mod thread that ian fergusson said, the bbc tv graphics are a modified raw version of the NAE , Well you learn something every day!!!
  8. My feelings are positive as kid in the winter of 81/82 it was the drifts that started me off in "l love snow",but everybodys to their own, sorry to hear it.
  9. Forget tissues I think you need a car sponge to wipe them tears away .
  10. All depends if you like snow or not, Im getting the feeling you don't!!.
  11. Far to much computing going on there, Gave me a headache looking at it
  12. Different models have different ideas "gfs vs ukmo" but the ukmo sounds more likely to me.And to Mr Benn i do drive and im with you on that one regarding getting behind the wheel !!!!! i was just making a point on how cold it could get over the next few days.
  13. Looking good now for a wide area over the midlands very impressive, but also whats impressive is the temps the GFS HI RES puts most of the midlands around 0.c or below from from thurs evening till weds lunchtime, potential ice days ahead.
  14. At times your right BLIZZARD maybe this tread could do with some thought regarding some better forcasting for the whole region, but i know not all have the know how on how to do so,all your doing is frightening others from posting. If members what to have their say, how big or small that might be or what ever that might be....so be it.
  15. Im sure they do'nt what to go the full hog and bring more of the midlands into the warnings just yet !!!!!, Surely this time tomorrow there will be more of us in the yellow and amber for some, they must be pulling their hair out as it is.
  16. javascript:warningpic(3) ....This METO new updates for friday ,Im sure it will change a few times till then Sorry messed up the link anyway the METO updates are out.
  17. LOL Just for fun Kmanmx, ive never known them to be right ! even the day before See if anybody can beat my total!!!! Like i said just for FUN.
  18. http://www.netweathe...;sess=#forecast Just the best ever looking march 23rd !!!, do'nt you think....... WOW. 25mm whats that add up to Emmmmm 10 inches !!!!! That would do very nicely.
  19. Yes last night i was with you on that one, i thought the GFS being so far south and the METO being so far north they had to meet in middle somewhere!!,Now with the GFS going on a trip north again lets see where the METO update is going later this morning ????.
  20. Anyway whats happening right now!!! just had a quick look at the radar looks interesting for the east of the region looks further south and the area of precipitation seems to be peping up.
  21. Try to understand its march and how rare to see charts the way they are, ok some are saying record breaking cold but i would'nt go that far, plus there could be some good snow fall for some in the midlands how far north or south i don't think we will know proper till 12 hrs before. So regarding the so called excitement i think it might have something to do with the above!!!!! thats if your a cold lover that is.
  22. With the GFS throwing everything further and further south and the bbc+meto still has the snow up north i just don't know what to think?????, iil be happy to meet in the middle right over us in the midlands that will do me!!!!!!!!!!.
