    I agree, there’s still lots of uncertainty as the Northerly will bring very unstable conditions, and in them scenarios can definitely bring troughs and kinks at very short notice, so yes MIA it’s still possible for us to see some snowfall

    Regarding my previous post to IrA, the GFS is all over the place, and at this stage right now literally none of the models are ingrained with each other right now So lots of ups and downs methinks atm….It’ll be probably Sunday even before we have something that’s going to be noticeable in saying it’s a yes or a no Edit, this was posted in the Model T just this just proves my case….even the GEFS members are at it BUT that’s a pub run chart if you asked me

    From the 12z to the 18z where did that low go west of Ireland….the GFS is all over the shop atm if you ask me

    Yes we live in hope, memorable is a stretch atm….I’ll be happy to see a good covering at this point

    Its too far out for anything regarding warnings as yet… but all glasses are half full at this stage

    Regarding snowy delights come next week, its still out for debate, but whatever happens, it’s certainly looking very cold with day times temperatures at 1s and 2s by mid week anything is better than wet and mild for us coldies

    Weather will play its games and sometimes the outcome isn't what is expected But that’s our battle, struggle and unending interest in all want it is Our UK weather certainly does that for us for sure

    Absolutely…for laughs it is at this stage… best way to treat it some people take it all it all far too seriously….come Sunday or even Monday…then if all snowy delights are still on show… then YES Bring it on

    I’m long in the tooth on here, I’ve seen all sorts over the years believe me I’ve learnt to take a step back and let the Tiswas carry on… But I do genuinely feel for the more informative peeps that try to find a meaningful insight….but some people, if it isn’t going to snow in one’s back yard in 7 days….as you’ve seen and heard it…it’s toy throwing Anyway, my thoughts are, we’ll see what pans out

    How true your wise words are John….its not just your expansion of knowledge, but I’m sure you’ve seen this scenario many, many and many more times over the years…..not over doing one’s age I hope … lol But battle ground snowfalls are some of the worst scenario to forecasted….like you mentioned even at t24….

    Looking at this mornings 06z GEFS themed spread for snow potential’s next week is looking good, but the control 12z atm is But I’ll wait to see if it’s an outlier as it’s still rolling out, I will say all the models are certainly not agreeing with each other right now and in my eyes its all eyes down and very interesting for all us coldies

    I’m with you on your thoughts Don, it’s the 6th of January and peeps are stating “disaster” in looking at 10 days away, a disaster is a 72h away event and then it goes tits up….come on keep the faith you half glassy peeps
