    Well true, i always say most id like to see is about 2 foot down, anymore and it probs would be annoying. Im told of old days people walking to work waist deep in snow! Wonder if there were panic buying bread and milk lol

    Must admit i cant see where all this nows gonna come from on radar, yet bbc and meto show it all night, albeit light, then a few hours heavier burst in morning for here. Id rather them be right for once lol

    Next 4 to 5 days on bbc and meto show little sun and mostly snow falling at most points for sheffield, sunday at the moment been heaviest?

    Would like them sunday charts to verify, our paths and garden have done better than i thought earlier with it only been fine snow!

    How can bbc show snow most of night and tommorow when it doesnt look much on radar?

    Looks like there could be snow tommorow most of the day if its right with some heavy burst too.

    Its not often you see days of continous snow fall in this country, usually its day at most, seems an awfull amount, hope its true though!

    Similar to sheffield, would love to change them icons to heavy snow for the whole period, let it pile up nicely

    Well main roads are mainly clear but side roads are covered, a welcome surprise. Hope thats the starter, with lots of main courses and desserts over next few days lol

    Something doesn't add up, you see national bbc forecast and it doesn't look bad for our region, yet 5 day forecast for here shows a lot of light snow falling most of weekend?
