  1. Jason, I would have liked to click Like This for the post. However as that wind chart for 00:00 onward tomorrow shows an 80mph winds over me then I am not sure I like THAT!

I don't think I want to be in that purple area for the winds. Can I opt out please? And YES, those charts have finally got me worried.

No problems mate, I am getting quite worried as this could be the worst storm yet for Our region

  3. Evening all.....Bloody dire Winter this ONE. Well in fact it never arrived. For those in the thread experiencing the floods, I sincerely hope that light at the end of the tunnel approaches pretty quick for you. The weather can be our friend or our worst enemy,It really has no mercy at all for anyone...The weird thing is we all love it and what it can create,Even though it has affected us in one way or another.

  5. Seems like a world away now Tam! Never known a winter quite like this one, and the worst thing is, i have not even come close to seeing a snowflake. I've seen about 3 frosts all winter, quite incredible!

Hopefully a nice baking hot summer will take hold this year and dry things out properly.

Very strange winter this one EES. Way back last year in November when it was cold,I even thought we are in for a very long,Cold and snowy winter. How wrong was that thought, This pattern is off the scale, Jet stream is just firing every low possible at us and helps assisting the low's to charge up in velocity. The rain fall for some parts is just crazy amounts. This winter will go down in the record books. The UK now is in a serious dire need of a pattern change and as you said a baking hot Summer, We will need a long one to sort it out. It will cost millions to put some parts of the UK back together. I think there will be further problems down the line once this pattern breaks, Especially with what happens below ground level,IE water table and unstable ground conditions, what finishes flowing on top will still be running below.

  7. Evening all..Hope everyone well. Would have posted this morning, But lack of time, Drove down the hill this morning to a river bed of stones that had washed of the fields,WOW..The speed humps had turned into miniature cobbles and wobbles....Anyway next one due in soon,They are like trains arn't they, Well in fact the Atlantic more reliable lol.I am hoping that now the Express have jumped on the Atlantic express for "The Biggest storm ever" than 87.

Our fortunes have now changed, I wished they had changed weeks ago,As we can shovel snow....but not rain.Posted Image
