  1. Hope the met office got it right, down grading warnings of 20cm down to 1 to 5cm, because snow is becoming thicker and heavier slowly though HERE IN al3.
  2. ok snow flurrie getting bigger and heavier here in al3 temp dropped alot aswell in the last hour.
  3. I think the next 4 hours we will all have a much better idea, mass confusion over the current weather, only because the predictable is unpredictable. There is a thaw happening here AL37JE but we still have a good cover of 3 to 5 inches in places, and in blanket form, gutters and roof tops dripping away though.
  4. Have light snow flurrie here thats it though. I know this sounds crazy but if the weather is very hard to predict at the moment, isnt it possible that anything could still happen. I dont think from what i here that this cold spell is from over, As for snow met office and news channels now decreased warnings to 1 to 5 cm from 20 cm, but from past experiances the uk weather can have a nasty sting in its tail.
  5. wouldnt it be funny the now decreased warning to 1 to 5 cms from 20 actually happens and gives 20 cm.Lets wait and see.
  6. BBC still saying up to 20cm, and sky news ????. Does any one know whats going on????
  7. afternoon people, just got this fom met office HEAVY SNOW FOR EASTERN ENGLAND VALID FROM 11.25AM TODAY TILL 11.59 PM. (:whistling:WHERE IS IT)
  8. Dont forget the ground to air temp mix as well people, get chill factor from that mixed in with wind.???
  9. As a newby here from hertfordshire, wanted it to throw it down with snow, everyone stop wondering its snowing But its NOT, light flurrie earlier thats it, wind gusts picked up a bit though. However the met office convinced its gonna SNOW. ???
  10. Now the met office are stating widespread snow england and wales, this may sound really silly earth rotates clockwise..????
