    Well met/o warning still there (sorry ADVISORY)... Models look better now i think, Have to say tuesday be better for state of play.

    So are we saying that netweathers, michael fish ,the M/O and the bbc are wrong from there models as they are all stating cold to return middle of next week,Surely they cant all be wrong ?. I still think we will all no alot more from the models next tuesday or maybe alittle bit sooner.

    Hello all, Maybe this has already been mentioned but the met office have put an advisory for up to 10cm snow in many areas from wednesday next week..

    Well im not sure, but the M/O has quite a bit of egg on its face at the moment, due to media etc to which they are closey now being watched on there current forecasting, I hope they have really got this right. They cant take to much more flack.

    This may sound funny but a wise man told me once that predicting UK weather impossible as WE ARE an island, our weather can change within 4 hours. I am only an observer to this site have been for a while trying to learn how it all works. As there is some real charged up discussions over models, To which cannot give anyone a defo. Time will tell.

    With out being rude to anyone, what are your GUT feelings. All models are all over place,and unable to calculate whats going to happen for sure within 24 hours,as they change every 6. There is a massive battle going on. Is anyone brave enough to forecast......

    after monitoring last nights discussion regarding models, about the big east coming back next week,etc. I had a group of collegues at work saying NO thats it its all over cold and snow gone for good, I said no way its going to come back BIG by next week end. Stupidly i placed a wager of 30.00. IM WORRIED NOW.

    Well i think we will know more by sunday and alot by tuesday next week. There is a real battle coming up.

    Would anyone agree that this easterly cold spell we experianced, can have a nasty sting in its tail. I personally think its not over by along shot and the best or worse depending how viewed is yet to come from it.

    Pretty much stopped here now got a good fall from that will put pics on later , gutters starting to drip etc. Good look to everyone still waiting. Even it dont, winter is not finished yet,not by a long shot. cold spell be back from the east monday,maybe sooner. Met office warnings out till 6pm so who knows.

    IS IT ME BEING PICKY,OR HAS THE M/O MADE A COMPLETE MESS OF THIS, I KNOW PEOPLE SAY WELL ITS HARD TO GAUGE FORECASTS HERE BUT COME ON THEY JUST DO NOT UPDATE ON TIME,ETC. PEOPLE ON HERE GIVE MORE ACCURATE FORECASTS.????????

    Well on the weather forecast on the bbc saying that this mild spell will only last till monday temps going drop rapidly, the west only ones to see high temps in the east still very cold so we will get minimal mildness as monday the east is coming back. I just dont understand where there info comes from, same here we are only yellow on m/o, I can honistly say its quite deep here and has not stopped since i was up at 5.30am.

    Looking good on the radar. Shame we missed out on that big from weekend though, with that one and this one,would really have caused chaos. Still lets hope the mild spell is short lived and see if the east can deliver, Roads will be a nightmare ALL.

    Forgive me if im wrong but on the bbc weather last sunday night,the weather man stated that this was going to happen then get pushed back out irelands way as the cold front from the east is like concrete, and that the really cold spell was going to continue.????
