Met office now showing an all snow event for my location blackburn...an upgrade from yesterday.

Latest met office fax chart has removed mondays mild sector....snow threat further west...cant post chart ,on my phone, but can be viewed in model thread.

I said the other day this would happen, saturday already gone now monday looking the same

Its just the thought of everyone else enjoying a snowfest, except us, always seems to happen every winter, monday is looking good at mo but will inevitably be downgraded.Without been rude
i would check the models again,might not be to good for Saturday,but Monday has excelent potential,
for now all FI but lets see where we are this time tomorrow

Whats the betting that the gfs12z moves towards ecm, then a couple of hours later the ecm moves towards the previous gfs, leaving us even more bamboozled than we are now.

Bit of a frenzy over in the model thread, the easterly is back on the cards, personaly i hope not as I hate watching the rest of the country get buried in snow while us poor westeners get nowt.......thats usually the case with easterlys anyway.

Fiday not even mentioned by eno on bbc northwest forecast just now, and didnt look to promising for snow on main bbc forecast,

Reading various websites and forecasts i get the impression fridays showers will be mostly rain at lower levels, i hope im wrong though

Can anyone point me towards any charts showing how strong the winds are likely to be next week i only ask as im traveling down to dartmouth for 3 days out boat fishing, not much point going if trips are canceled due to high winds,im living in hope that the worst of this low will have moved on by monday. cheers

sorry im in blackburn, she just said at end of forecast possible snow wed night, she did,nt specify where exactly.

On northwest weather just now, they said a good chance of snow wed night here in blackburn, Im not holding my breath though.
