Today is wet and mild , kind of missed the rain
though I am sure in couple of days stuck inside, i will crave the beautiful cold crisp weather of the last few weeks Anyhoo ,, as an eternal optimist ,, i went into the MOD thread ,, oh dear ...
winter is over ,, kept thinking of the Smiths song,, I know it's over and it never really began ..
think i will take a wee break for a week , thank goodness for this thread ,.. my weather gurus

Wow was some storm last night ! we had the same as you on the other side of the river , lots of lightning and very loud thunder followed by biblical flood rain !! The streets of Gourock are awash with debris from the downpour !

We had a ten to fifteen minute shower in Glasgow City Centre not amounting to much but still nice to see falling snow

Who ordered me a storm for my birthday
I am sure I said snow not storm !
Winds really picking up here the last hour , going to be fun walk for the train this morning !

A gust of northern windThe clouds chased to London
Dragging polar air down
The rain turns colder
A huddled picnic
Left to the birdsWinter having one last laugh
A reminder there is no control
The sun takes a week off
The cold and grey spreads
Meanders across the weekend

Heavy clouds in the evening

Firing light down the river
Perfect Rainbow over Clyde
In between the heavy squall
Reaching out to touch
The temporary colour bridge
Under the persisting hail
Coast rainbow looking divine
Colouring the North bank
Houses painted in light
In all shades of colour
