    Just been woken up by the heaviest hail I have ever seen !! Was like someone throwing stones against the window ! Everything white outside I think I prefer snow Frost of the month The sound of snow Tapping at the window Grounded all the planes No cars move In suburban lanes Huddled around the candle Wifi and TV out Only each other For company tonight The snow eases The frost descends And we awake to a painted landscape A thousand voices in cheer As we hold our loved ones dear

    Well winter has started , well kind of : ) i have sleet outside my Gourock window ; ) and the hills are covered in snow Great to be back

    Oh man, what a terrible day down on the tail of the bank. Cold car showing 3 and bits of sleet in heavy bursts of rain. Oh for some frosty and sunny weather !

    Hi weather friends, been quiet day here windy but not much else to report. Hope everybody has a great Christmas Day tomorrow. I am off to investigate some beer! Here is hoping for some frost and snow in 2014 !

    morning ,, what a will start to the day down here on the tail of the bank .. i was out in it at 7:30 on way to physio for my knee ... it was like being water hosed ! was so wet had to run in my bare feet in the gym lots of damage around saw some sleet in the last shower .. hope everyone is safe ...

    Morning I live about a mile away from where the lightening trashed the flat in greenock. It was a very powerful storm v v loud thunder and lots of lightening! Rain was v fat looked liked snow had a bit of hail too!

    hello ,, all i can is the weather is awesome ,, love my cold weather , love the rain ( in decent amounts ) but this is just glorious .. I felt hot in Glasgow ,, that doesnt happen very often Cheers .............

    Morning, light snow on here in Gourock, I call it Swedish snow dry and floaty! Have lost count on how many snow falling days there have been!

    Quite heavy snow grains in Gourock as i left for the train ... a wee suprise Is there any chance of a frontal breakdown to the cold ? Or it wil it be a slow return to normal temps ..?

    Just back home from the match, never been soo cold at a game! I was hypnotised by the snow in the floodlights! Anyhow lets hope that's the last of the snaw I need to warm up!

    Random sleet at times here , one of those great scottish winter days 1 degree and cold rain! I wish I lived in Boston !

    driving hail/sleet here on the Clyde .. will it turn to snaw ? we will have to wait and see !
