    Been out about today. The morning was spent running and cycling around Dartmoor in heavy showers, with a little bit of sleet at elevation on top of one of the Tors. Temperature was around 6 degrees. In the afternoon in Plymouth and the car recorded 12 degrees, back home it's now 7 degrees, always a 3-5 degree difference between here and Plymouth. Not yet gone on the MOD .......going now!!

    I'll follow the various threads and see what happens. It's bloody raining again and 9 degrees here.....not really very wintry. Let's hope we in Cornwall get some sort of wintry weather through this projected snap / spell.

    Just watched the weather forecast on Spotlight...no snow for Cornwall. Oh well I'll keep reading the South East regional thread for my snow fix!!

    Is this the start of the dreaded downgrades? I just hope is stays dry and cold over the few weeks, not the continued bloody mild and dull like it has for most of the year!!!!

    Just got in from work, 12c outside, very misty and drizzly......but the MOD thread is very exciting......surely we'll get some decent wintry weather from this weekend onwards!! Can this go belly up? God I hope not!

    Yeah, I know its seems ludicrous but in six years living here we've had 3 decent snowfalls....I lived in Swindon for 9 years in the 90's and only had 2 decent snowfall's, and that really doesn't make sense!!

    Saw the sun today. Rain forecast for tomorrow....then snow start of next week!......well possibly!

    The MOD at the moment is not a very happy place, as the other guys have mentioned, and I suspect it might not get any better before Spring!

    They all seem grumpy to me...especially Steve M. who is generally superb. It always fascinates me how emotive the chase for cold and snow is!!
