Well, with all this 'buzz' going on does anyone out there think we're in a better position than we were late November / early December. It does feel better but I distinctly remember having the feeling of being let down big time in December. Any wise words on the subject apart from all the obvious 'health warnings'!!!

Hi GTLTW - I'll be reading all the posts with interest over the next period of time and I'll be hoping (like the majority of us) that something wintry will prevail. Having spent the best part of 8 years reading / lurking on here and TWO I still find it hard not to get 'drawn into' epic runs and 'ramping' so I thought by posting on the forum I might become more pragmatic in my views / hopes / expectations.....we'll see!! lol

Morning All - Groundhog day again today, gloomy and dry, third day on the trot exactly the same. Although it is dry it is still rubbish weather although if the SSW etc is to be believed we all might see something a little more interesting fairly soon, which would be nice!

If we do get snow then the body boards are out, much quicker than sledges, and I'm off up Kit Hill to surf the snow! I refuse to buy a sledge as that will definitely mean there will never be any snow in this area ever again, ever!

Hi Noggin, Having 'lurked' for so many years my nerves frazzled a few years ago! The weather today is a bit drizzly and overcast....well yesterday was nice so can't complain. Having lived in Cornwall for the last six years I'm now used to days on end of rain and cloud.......Wiltshire weather was far better!!

First post after lurking for years! It's not raining in East Cornwall for the first time for what seems like months! Hope everything starts to dry up.
