For me early june was blighted here by a virtually daily cold breeze followed by the peak summer month July being a total write-off for doing summery stuff, a pretty average aug and warm September doesn't make up for peak summer activities being adversely affected

After reaching 30c followed by lot's of rumbles and a couple of very bright flashes we are now getting the biblical downpour as storms go pretty tame but about as good as it gets this year here

Closing in on 26c already, humidity really draining and it's only 10am

Rubbish summer here carrying on from a cool north sea dominated spring, June was pretty cool until the last third, July one of the worst in my lifetime August tried to make amends but the damage has been done, low max temperatures, cool nights wet July, so got to mark this one 3 out of 10 hopefully September will deliver as it often does in the east

It's taken until August but the evening's are now warm enough to be outside until dusk in t-shirt and shorts at least in this area I'm making the most of it hitting the Peterborough beer festival

Another day, Another day of absolute garbage on gfs right to the end. We had our summer in June!
We got about 2 1/2 weeks here thanks to the north sea, spring was cold and summer has been an occasional warm dry day

As near as it's going to get to summer here this July I fear almost 24c sporadic sunshine, light wind, hoards of flying ants and a warm evening, would have been pretty average normally but fantastic this year

Not in the SE, with a breeze 25c doesn't feel hot, on a still day sitting in the sun it's probably top end of warm

Dispite all the modeling gloom not a bad weekend here eastern side of Peterborough touching high twenties yesterday touching mid twenties today very little rainfall all in all as good as it gets in a normal English summer

Dropped 3 degrees to 28c. Time to put some clothes back on ... But of a breeze makes it a bit chilly on a naked body in the shade lol
Pretty much the same here, very strong breeze but thankfully heated rather than chilled

Autumn 2023
in Spring Weather Discussion

Overcast and a little chilly in the wind despite what the thermometer shows, light breeze and clear sky needed to lift us above a normal October day
