  1. anywho winds howling over 6000 without power in the westmidlands according to the guardian
  2. amber warning extended now into more parts of the west midlands was just shropshire now a larger area
  3. power down in parts of the w mids according to sky news. not surprised with strength of winds
  4. yeah triple expect the worst here to come later on the rainfall is gonna seriously effect the levels on the severn
  5. biblical rain at one point now clearing winds lighter however should pick up again once the rainband moves through
  6. might have it right for once. On a serious note those nmm charts paint a worrying picture even inland could get gusts exceeding 70 mph

  8. yep gust speeds have cranked up a notch developing into a nasty storm.
  9. yeah xc weather also has me down for 70 mph believe me for being this far inland that is very windy. interesting times ahead

  13. yep according to the gfs 60 to 70 mph winds quite widely
  14. after a quick look at all of the models the ecm does look the most severe . caranage in some areas if it stays like that. A more northerly track as developed also over the last model run, chopping and changing no doubt over the coming hours regarding the positon of the low possibly the met office may alter some of there warning to cover more areas of the uk if this trend continues
  15. yep not quite as bad however still gusts 70 mph ish through wales and midlands still potent enough.

  17. Track could and will change but as it is at the moment middle third of country looks most at risk at the mo.
  18. Yep this could be a notable storm those type of wind speed here would cause a lot of problems
  19. Just having a quick glance at the ensembles some off them agree with a very powerful storm brewing mid week. As many have said still a few days out but one to keep an eye on.
  20. yeah i mean that surely is the worst case scenario winds approaching 100 mph inland it cant happen like that. can it?

  22. through the whole of that run the striking part is the amount of rain that will fall. When will it end?
  23. yes i understand that i think im just left a little frustrated with the constant barage of lows this winter, Infact i cant remember a period when i have seen so many sub 980 lows modelled
