  9. GFS 6z looks to be further south Still loads of chopping to go before now and then
  10. I think its a bit early to be chasing snow at 3 -4 days away the low could end up anywhere probably best to leave it till the 12z on Friday before we know roughly were it will end up.
  11. Icons take on Saturday snowfall but because of the marginal uppers etc accum only on high ground.

  17. Arperge 18z shows quite a bit of snow for the peaks north on Wednesday Thursday Downside is the front really struggles and brings copious amounts of rain elsewhere particularly down the spine of the country
  18. Im sure it wont happen As it happens icon is all rain . At least you have an Ark of some kind.
  19. Arperge 12z the front struggling to get the front across on thursday morning looks like its 100 miles ish further west result turns to snow quicker. Brum North

  21. Ive been looking at the models the Arperge as been very bullish regarding Wednesday night into Thursday a few days ago it was snowmaggedon for many parts. Its backtracked slightly but it wouldnt take much for many regions to see snowfall. Icon as in some respect come towards the Arperge solution although still not perfect. One to watch for sure.
  22. Strange winter thus far. No real bitting cold to speak off but in this little part of England we have had many days of snowfall and two biggish falls of over 10cm. But the bigger picture shows that this winter as been a let down for many Further south apart from the odd fall its been very much a 21st century winter. Hopefully things will improve.
  23. coldest last night was -3.5c so not overly cold now its 0.4c expecting melt today.
