From what I can see it look like two separate events tomorrow day time and then tomorrow night. First chance begins late AM with rain possibly turning to snow in the afternoon and then another area of snow overnight. Hope we all at least get some sort of covering out of this.

Charts above look great. Almost too good to be true. A lot of the Midlands doesn't appear to have any warnings out though unless I have missed something?
Really hope this comes off!

Latest models showing snow over a large part of the Midlands at 1600 tomorrow unless I am mistaken.

Met Office show snow over my area during most of tomorrow afternoon. Would love it to be correct but just cant see it happening knowing our luck!

I am feeling a little underwhelmed about this upcoming cold spell. Forecasts I have see don't seem to suggest anything significant, snow wise, for most parts of the Midlands. Knowing our luck if we do get PPN there will be a warm sector to ruin it anyway. Sorry to sound downbeat but there have been far too many let downs in recent years. A slight dusting is the best I think most of us will get that will probably melt in an hour!

The way it is going game over winter. Always 10 days away and then watered down to nothing. Greece buried in snow by the end of the week and we get drab nothingness. Dire stuff.

All falling apart again. Looked good a couple of weeks ago but lets be honest it looks dire at the moment for any sort of even half decent cold weather. This winter heading just like the last couple of rubbish winters. Before we know it we will be into January and chasing cold always weeks away. Could be game over yet again.

Shocking weather. Smaller roads in Bridgnorth and Ludlow area in a dreadful state with a large amount of floods, according to my parents, who have been there today.
