  16. Its june already and have only heard one bit of thunder, even compared to 2007/8 this year is very much behind and those years there were hardly any and not one significant storm. Lets hope this years back building to unleash the mother of all storms! How frustrating, im just hopeing that the GFS figures will increase the thunderstorm activity on sunday but most unlikely! sigh!
  17. I have no idea how to embed video so ill just post the link. this was the craziest storm i think ive seen, some pretty decent videos I just wish i was there on the 4th August 2008! but those sirens give me nightmares they are very scary sounding! the sirens are Federal Signal Modulators in Alternate Wail mode! awsome! This is what it looks like! v
  18. good video!! would love to live in the US as they have alot of exciting weather! :o Some of those people looked pretty soggy though, but looks fun haha!
  19. i dont want it to erupt as it would ruin alot of peoples plans, im going to mexico on the first of july. Plus crops etc will die and are health would degrade from all the volcanic ash settled everywhere! id quite like to avoid that situation!
  20. quite alot of convection here right now some really dark clouds to my south/southeast i can see the top shooting up. looks a bit small for thunder atm but you never know hopefully! Theres two Cbs just floating by!
  21. If only ay you never know though it could happen this year could be are year! It took me about 10 mins in all, the worst part about it was getting the severe areas looking right but overall it was a pretty easy thing to do as i do alot of graphical work. I just took a pretty empty chart from the estofex archives copied the colours from the numbers and drew around the areas where i wanted the different warnings, then copied and pasted the numbers and the thunderstorm symbol where i wanted and then set the transparency colour to black (this makes the black areas invisible) and that way only the symbols where left, finally I flattend the whole thing as the symbols where on a different layer to the background chart. Coming back to reality, lets hope that next weeks chart is correct and we do indeed get atleast some thundery downpours.
  22. haha take alook at my ideal forecast for storms its not real so dont get too excited lmao!
  23. Its pretty cloudy here, looks a little bit stormy to the southwest/west but im not expecting anything to develop, weathercoxy you lucky devil !!
  24. I hope so nick, I really do but the area doesnt quite reach where i live but i could probably see the lightning from them.
