Many years ago i was in Africa were i was having a picnic with my parents when our hair started to stand on end! ran to the car and sure enough a tree nearby was stuck which was pretty damn cool. Then that night whatever direction you looked there was constant flashes and rumbles in the distance. But that’s just a normal evening there! On another holiday i was at the Kennedy space centre in Florida were a storm rolled over while we was inside and the rain and hail was so intense the car park flooded and damaged our rental car lol I also remeber alot of nightime storms in the uk when i was younger, they would last for hours and the way i knew they was coming was the satalite signal would stop half an hour before!

Hhhm i dont really want to join but i just realised it will have been a year on may 1st since i last saw lightning! and i remember waiting a while just for that so i probably will miss anything tomorow like always. Got a vid of 1 flash i recorded with pretty good audio Good thing im moving to south africa soon were the lightning is brutal!

My weather station must be wronge, The temperature is higher than humid atm!! 25.6 C and 24% humidity which cant be good conditions for a storm

I just saw a hot air balloon so i doubt there will be any storms today

Trust me this guy isnt lying!! Saw one bolt of lightning last year and that was on may 1st :S Charts arnt looking bad just yet so maybe..lol

i was in that hitchin storm in the first video! was the first time in years were i could see constant lightning, followed the black sky to dunstable downs before flood water damaged our car when we drove into the torrential rain! fingers crossed it happens again this year :lol:

Had only one storm last year in may! and so far this month 23 days of no rain wtf? maybe a storm can bring the totals back by end of month

Its nice to see the cape for my area today at the same level as it was in summer to bad i didnt see a thing all summer!

Been i quiet sunny day untill about an hour ago when some heavy rain went over then after it had past the power went out for a while! Now it is very humid outside at 83%and rising

well its always good to remain optimistic!
