    This might sound a little simplistic, but what happens when the amo switches from it's present warm phase,(which started in the mid 70s) to a cool phase? would it not have a positive effect on sea ice growth?

    i've just been on the met office web site and can't,for the life of me find the 6-15+15-30 day outlook. i'm not a great fan of change,but the met office imo have not improved this site.?

    if todays ecm output was to verify,then my guess of 3.8c would possibly be a tad high?

    just picked my jaw up off the floor,after seeing the gfs charts for next thurs-friday! now i love severe weather, especially the cold variety.the reason i'm posting is that i work outdoors delivering the post for royal mail,so that is one storm i don't want to see verify!!!
