They seem to be headed more North rather than NE so maybe up towards the NE coast - there appears to be small convergence in this area according to XC too?

I'm from Hull, if any of you are from the Hull area or chasing nearby i would gladly meet up thats if we ever get anything to chase!
As mentioned above this was only reason i joined the forum was to meet like minded folk that shared an interest in storms and for me its to try and capture them on camera, i've got the gear but not really had a good opportunity to use it
Good luck all

Its on Keith Fronk FB page and also confirmed by Caryn Hill a close friend of Tim, so hopefully valuable data will be collected and analysed.

Just been reading that...
"Tim Samaras and Twistex had deployed 3 probes in the center of what is now the most violent tornado on record. All three probes have been recovered and all 3 are functional. Let this bring a platinum lining to what has become our darkest cloud!

El Hierro waking up again

I've got a houseplant thats been outside in the shade during the summer months and decided to bring it in last month, and when i got up in the morning there was a sprinkle of black bits around the plant up to 6 inches away on the window sill. After close inspection of the plant i found a very small caterpillar under one of the leafs so i snipped the leaf of with caterpillar removed the both to the garden, no more droppings . Under my buddleia that hangs over the path is the same droppings but a tad bigger, caterpillars again.

That storm north of Hull has literally just exploded. Another sferic on the CF around south Staffs I think.
This week from now on is offering plenty of opportunities for parts of the UK with the weekend looking like being very good so i may get a few chases in.
Didn't it just, got it all on video and on camera
