Dont quiet no what i`ve filmed here.....but it may be of interest to the peeps who were discussing the different directions of the clouds at various levels It looks to me as the upper level clouds are rolling over the top of the lower southerly travelling lower clouds? this was taken this afternoon looking out West from Birmingham above the route of the M5 be interested to here opinions on whether this was influenced by any inflow/ outflow from the storms to our East accompanied by Zero 7/ Polaris http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9pDOzuw81Es

Can confirm we had half a dozen CC flashes and some load thunder from 12.20am this cell travelled up the M5 and was pointed out by Blizzards as 1 of 2 cells intensifying down by Hereford/Worc border unfortunately for me it came directly overhead so capturing it through a half open window (slightly tilted downwards to allow the gathered rain to fall out as opposed to in ) was difficult so i really had to hope for a nice CG over the city close but no cigar

Worth the wait........... last in the line of cells that is just leaving Birmingham just produced half a dozen CC lightning and some full bloodied rumbles closest i got to a capture Last chance saloon for me

Top of that cell towards Shrewsbury looks good for all on a NE track got my eyes on the cells below Hereford for my fun........

You`ll be wanting your proverbial towel back then

Blue skies and visible convection now in Birmingham with a lot more looking like its heading up the M5 Its only just beginning.......

First of the cells from SW just arrived over Birmingham with a spit of rain.....just to ramp up the humidity a bit more Been watching the forecasts for our areas but also been observing our local Swifts...... there feeding at a higher level than normal with a certain swagger in there tails.....as if there looking forward to a coming event best of luck everyone
