Ye it's gonna be some adventure! Ha Ye I heard they can be a bit of a annoyance sometimes but I'm hoping to get all sorted while in Dublin in the new T2 terminal they hav pre-clearance checks now for people goin into America so I don't hav to hang around over in the airport over there . Ah cool ... I was tempted to ask my bro for a Lend of his d200 but don't want to risk it as it's a quite expensive kit. But ye , a remote clicker would be a great idea. I can't wait to see all the constant lightning ! A picture of me sranding in front of a text book supercell would be just class!.... And standing in front of a tornado would be a dream! Ha Looking forward to meeting everyone out there! Oh are yas all still planning to do a meet up b4 tour 1? For the entire group like? Didn't hav the time or money to travel for the other meet ups enfortuneatly...

Hows it goin Ross? Im goin on tour 3 also, first time goin on a proper chase, first time goin to America & 1st time goin anywhere by plane by myself,..... CANT telephone boxIN WAIT! ha Ive been looking at flights also ( im from dublin ) , at the moment its looking to be around 900 euro for me ( im goin to New Jersey afterwards ) so with sales , hopefully that ll go down. So what kind of equipment are people bringing?, i got the Lumix FX 100 for Christmas... Full HD video, ..24mp zoom, 14mp lense... Cant wait to get some great pictures and footage with it!

Woo! 150 Days or so still The Chase Begins for mise! Cant wait! Just checked the BA website for another price est. IM goin to new jersey after dallas for a week then back to dublin... all in all ... they give a price of €899 ... about £770 ... hopefully thatll go down once sales start. WHat u guys think of that price anyways?

Cheers John, Ive been checkin BA regularly for flights, id be much happier goin to Heathrow from dublin if it means gettin a direct flight from there. Didnt know about the general meet up before tour 1, i shall be marking that date on my calender so!

Ye ill look into that, gettin a cheap flight to london would be best if it means gettin a direct flight to dallas, as stop overs on the way over would be risky i think as ther could be delays. 380 is great, thats about 450 euro, im goin to New Jersey tough afterwards to visit an uncle of my for a week so ye even more misery for me trying to look for flights. I worked it out at about 900 euro , if that goes down to 700 even id be delighted.... All eyes on the sales so! Are u planning on goin over on the actual designated day for travel... or do some people go a day early if its cheaper?, sorry for all the questions pal ha

Hey People, Just wondering , has anyone booked flights yet? Im trying to wait myself for january sales, Im gonna be flying from dublin and i persume it would be just best to go straight over to america instead of goin to stansted or something 1st? The weeks are flying by!, cant wait!

HEY LADS! Went on my first ever storm chase yesterda ( in ireland! ) , we went to achill island in sligo. We experienced 100mph winds on top of Menawn mountain ( 400m asl) Wildest weather ive ever been in!! We posted our stuff on the irish weather page ( www.irishweatheronline.com) and the admin got an email from the US weather channel asking could they air some of our footage this morning, which they did! ANd now the site is gettin flooded by people from all over america!!! Good oul warm up for next may i think! :D:D Go onto that site to see some of my and others footage from the day! Ian

ye it probably was the early hours, as last nite my thermometer was ready 8.0 degrees , and im only 15 mins from the airport. Still tough, some quite cold temps for october!

Hey, Considering that i miss the bbq, ill try look out for cheap flights over for the weekend. Would be good to meet up wit the group before may, ( pointers on what to expect and to hav over ther wil be handy!) So ye,you can add a 2nd "ian" to the list if i find cheap flights from dublin to cardiff

Hey People, New to the storm chase group...Just want to say im gonna saddened to miss this BBQ , cant get any more weekends off work for awhile, would of been great to get to know yous all and of course watch some epic storm chase footage..... ANd of course eat loads of food ha. SO ye Sorry again. Yous are all more than welcome to keep me updated online when i get home from work to the happenings of the evening ha.!
