Had an amazing tornado dream last night folks! I can pretty much remember the whole thing! , so here it is! I was staying in some small hotel with my mates (for some reason it looked more like a diner ha ), and we were just outside in the pool, I noticed lightning starting up so I told them all to get out and just go under the shelter, I took my phone out and started recording it ( ) , we could see the lightning getting stronger and closer to a bunch of trees, it hit one of them ( a double strike ) , and the whole thing just snapped right in half, it was just after this I notice some rotation not so far from us, I shouted to everyone to get inside . At this stage I was running with my phone turned the opposite way to record it! We got inside the building and went into the middle room ( the kitchen )... But then I seen a car in the car park start moving toward the tornado so knew it was coming our way, bcoz it was moving at a real slow pace , I knew the building wouldn't withstand a direct hit. So I ushered everyone out the back door and we started running and hopping fences. After a min , I looked back to see half of the building get ripped away , and gladly the tornado wasn't coming our direction ( for some reason running for a min in a dream can get u REAL far ha ) . We came across a man telling us all to come into HIS house till it calms down..... On walking in I looked at my phone, smiled , and pressed stop on the recording! . I actually woke up thinking for a split second that I could grab my phone and look at the video! ............. :(

Ye , being tired after the long flight , it ll be handy just having the hotel right there when ya land. I should be able to go through customs there no problem as theres Us customs at a new section in Terminal 2 at dublin airport . So i shouldnt be held up long. Well ye if anyone does book into the hotel and not wrecked by the time they arrive meeting up would be good. Specially if i get my SUITE upgrade that i checked ( if the room isnt booked out that night i get it for an extra $50. Which i wouldnt mind! But apart from that , bright an early on the 21st it shall be! , AH ye , thats a must! ha, we dont want to be all falling asleep in the cars! ha. Ian

HOw it goin Ross... Ye im staying in the Grand Hyatt Hotel, its part of one of the terminals in the Airport! ... think i got my room for €130. Looks real high standard and to be part of the Actual terminal i just had to choose it straight away ha Im not in till 7.30, so say 8pm. But ye , see what other peoples arrival times are and stuff. Ian

Does anyone that has went before suffer from hey fever??? Im contemplating of gettin the injection for it b4 we head off! .... Dont want having to take my tablets every morning!

Hey lads, ye , im goin on the 20th aswell, for my flights which are from Dublin -Newark- Dallsas then Dallas-Newark-Dublin it worked out at €770 that being £660. Not getting in till half 7 bells that evening tough so i wont be wandering abouts. Woohoop, 72 days! Oh and cookie.... i thinks that could be me... Is mise 21 Ian.

Whos Buddy Holly??? haha.... For ME , i would love to see some crazy lightning and PROPER hail.... brilliant cloud structure.. a nice windstorm would be cool. A tornado would just be a bonus!

Alright Dave , Im goin a day early for tour 3 , already booked into the grand hyatt hotel at dfw . Standard room for €130. but i filled in a upgrade request, means if the bigger king room or SUITE is free i get it for cheap!

Whats gives the starter for the season?.... for there to be a moderate risk , or some tornadoes touching down?...

Would be great to witness something similar to this over there!

Thanks Paul, i was thinking it would either hav no effect or a good effect on storm production, hopefully itll work in our favour! Ye its goin to be wierd goin over to such hot weather even tough it'll be spring... havent a clue what selection of clothes to bring ha. No Pat, wasnt me , im Iancar29 on le youtube.

Hey People, On the long term , would this cold weather hav an effect on storm production in the plains during tornado season due to latent heat effects or is it not really an issue this far out? Ian

Had a Tornado Dream Last nite! .... I heard sirens goin off and was like... " What?!, sirens?!, since when did dublin hav them?... ther must be a tornado near by!" I legged it up stairs to the window , and sure enough there was one in the distance!.... So i started shouting at everyone which way to run and to get inside! ha... But then the wind from outside woke me up ... funny aye?

Hows it goin Pat, just letting u know, booking my hotel now and i just noticed the prices have gone down from €130 for a standard room to €105 , thats for the 20th of may. Incase u havent booked urs yet.
