Yeah we are thinking that there would be no point coming down on the Sat to then go back home on the Sunday so unless the roads are clear and gritted then might as well move weekends.

Hey everyone, I am from Leeds and you guys look to have it bad. My partner is due to travel down from East Lothian (Prestonpans to be exact) down the A1 or the A68 route to Leeds either tonight or tmrw. Can anyone say what the roads will be like and if likely ploughed or gritted. I can see the A1 seems clear from Newcastle downwards. Hoping everyone stays safe wherever you are. Thank you.

Im in Stourton (HUnslet) this is crazy its belting it down weve got more snow here now than my brother whos in Barnsley. I have been at my parents for tea tonight as motorways were clear. Treacherous driving conditions home, motorway was blocked and I got stuck trying to get back and had to come a diff way. South Leeds where I am is really taking a decent hit tonight.

Yes just posted this earlier, my partner lives right in the middle of the red warning at Prestonpans!!!! Gutting we spend alternate weekends at each others and hes due down here this weekend! So wish I was up there!

Even those that have snow say it's all melting. Something we were also told the extreme cold temps by day and strong march sun would not do. It's 2c here in York yes it's Baltic in the wind but it's 2c all the same.
